"I recently purchased a motorcycle from H-D of Macon and the experience was better than expected. I live 3+ hours from Macon but made the trip to view the 09' FatBoy prior to buying. It started at first contact with Jerry Green. He was busy with a charity rally, but spent a good amount of time with me on the motorcycle I was interested in. I bought it two weeks later. Just took it back to replace the pipes and work was done quickly and they look great. Regardless the distance, I will always consider taking my motorcycle to them for mods and service. Garry, Jerry and all the other staff I spoke with have been helpful, knowledgeable and truly have the desire to ensure a satisfied customer."

"I know this isn't a HD story but the sale of a BMW 330i by the owner Greg Sassaman was excellent. The way this used vehicle was maintained and kept is testimony to his dedication to excellence and integrity, something that is hard to find now days. The vehicle was on sale in the dealership parking lot and Greg was kind, courteous, and professional from start to finish. The atmosphere and general friendly nature of the staff at HD of Macon is self evident from the first encounter of any sales staff. Having been in customer service myself for 4 years I must say it is a breath of fresh air to shop or even just socialize in this store. Thanks a lot guys keep up the good work."

"This was in the late '70's we were pulling a trailer with my jeep on it when we stopped at a gas station there on Mercer Univ. Dr. When we were leaving the station notice we had lose the nut to the trailer hitch ball. We unhooked the trailer and I stayed with it. My mother went looking for a nut. This was on a Friday after 5:00 pm. Just down the road was the Harley Davidson shop she said they will have a nut the front on the shop was close but the back shop door was open. She went in and asked if they has a nut to fit the ball. One of the 2 men that was washing up came of sand said to my mother that she looked familiar is your name Frances. She is thing that is lucky then he said her last name which was right. The man was Grover he hadn't seen her in 25 yrs. back in Florida. The other man was Herb Groves which she hadn't seen in 25yrs also. So after catching up on 25 yrs Grover got her a nut and she came back and picked me and the trailer up. Not to many people can remember you after a few yrs but Grover is great. He sold my mother a 4 wheel motorcycle that my mother. She said I would buy it if he could get it into the van it had about an 1" to spare. We stop by when we are going by on are way from Florida to Atlanta and every one at the shop are friendly and helpful."

"My son is moving to Macon. We were looking for a place for him to live and I wanted to stop by the HD dealer just to look. I have never met a more helpful and friendly bunch and i've been to a lot of dealerships. My wife especially enjoyed talking to Mr. Grover Sassaman while I was being helped by a super guy at the parts desk. I was looking for lower handle bars for my '08 Heritage and he answered my questions and showed me how they they compared to what I had. We will be back!"

"In Feb of 2009, I was passing thru from tenn. to Florida. I kept popping fuses on my lights. No rear lights, brake lights, turn signals, headlight only. After blowing 4 fuses in 200 miles, I saw the sign showing where they were located and BEE-LINED to the dealership. The tech, (I don,t remember any of their names, sorry) but the tech stopped what he was doing and got to work on my bike. He found that some wires in the fairing had chaffed and was shorting out the circuit. I had already taken the bike to Two different HD dealers, one in Murfreesboro and one in Nashville TN for this issue. Neither could find the problem. The store had closed and the tech stayed to finish putting my front end back together to get me back on the road. It,s been almost two years and I have not had any issues with the fuses since.
"Thank You" does not do justice for this kind of service. In a few years I'll be in the market for a new HD. I'm thinking of making the 500 mile ride to do business with this dealership again.

"I would like to thank the service department for performing a service call when I was disabled away from home. Long story short. I had inadvertantly left my lights on and drained the battery. After a phone call to the service department they ran a battery out to my location and replaced it within one hour after the call. This is typical of the operations at Macon HD. Great service beyond the sale of the bike!!"

"I just wanna say thanks to your motor clothes staff!
I was on my way from Tampa Fl. to Minnesota last week, and had no rain gear packed. Mandy helped me and was a treat to talk to! She hooked me up with a jacket and "bib's" that i am VERY happy with! She also sold me a shirt that she said i had to have! LOL...She made me feel @ home and not just another customer! I will be sure to stop in when passing thru again! Keep up the good work!"

"Purchased my 95 Fatboy from a friend in October 2008 and wanted to add a few things to make it my own. I've been riding dirt and street bikes since the 60's but when you're a girl, most folks just assume that you have no idea about riding or motorcycles in general. Not so at Macon Harley. Professionalism, knowledge, and the best customer service around is what I found. Scott, Cody and Gary are always more than helpful. (Cindy,Shawn and Greg too)
I have noticed that Macon HD is not just your ordianry dealership either. Its like going to a friends house to hang out. Everytime my husband and I ride in, we meet riders and future riders just dropping in to say hi to the staff and wander through the store.
January 2010, I made the BIG decison to add a new Trike to the family. I was told that there were none to be found and that the waiting list was long. Scott and Shawn found what I wanted in ONE day! I tried not to get too excited about the delivery of my Tri-Glide, having heard that some dealerships took 2 to 6 weeks to get bikes delivered. Not at Macon HD. In just a few days, I was riding my baby home.

"These Guys and Gals are Great!! I called and ordered my bike on 05-20-2009 before 12 PM. Jimmy got everything squared away for me and when I got there at 6:00 PM that day he and Sean got me throught the paperwork quickly and got me to my new baby. After a quick how to session with the Owner I got on my new bike for the first time and fell absolutely in love! I can't say enough about their patience and care.
